This is a sketch of my daughter who was born in 1973. It was a copy of a photograph……no I didn’t get a 15 month toddler to sit still for this sketch. I often do “pencil sketches,” I call them, even though they are often done with graphite sticks and highlighters. I mostly do them for the family as gifts. Sometimes I get paid for them. sometimes I use them as studies for possible portraits. I see I need to add “drawings” as a category.
