Blue Lobelia

Blue Lobelia

This beautiful blue spike is one of the rare blue wildflowers.  There are so many more yellow and pink and white flowers.  So a deep red or even better a deep blue is such a treat. You can see the resemblance to its cousin the Cardinal Flower.
