Big Meadows Virginia
Here, again is another view of this gorgeous place. It was a very hot afternoon. The temperatures in the lower elevations were over one hundred degrees. It was a few degrees cooler here but still a bit warm for a couple of old codgers. We stayed a little too long, considering the temperatures, and I was rather spent after our hike there. the many different layers of color and textures were inspiring to me but I really can’t do them justice in a painting. A photo does not do them justice.
